Re: “Where Can a Displaced Seattleite Watch the Seahawks Game in Nashville?

We've got a Hawks group about 100 members strong, usually about 20-30 of us per game. Meeting this week at Belcourt Taps & Tapas in Hillsboro. Search for the Facebook group Music City 12th Man or Nashville Seahawks fans.

And yes. Go Hawks!

Re: “McFadden's Institutes an Interesting Dress Code Policy

Having been in the industry FOR. E. VER....I can tell you that most, if not all of these requirements will only be enforced on men. It's petty, ridiculous and isn't going to keep out the kind of behavior you think it will. Not to mention completely subjective. People that want to get housed and cause a scene or start fights will always go where there is loud music, drink specials and/or considered one of the "hottest spots in town." Don't want those kind of people? Don't have that kind of establishment. OR, do like the rest of us and say they appear intoxicated and you cannot in good conscience serve them. Problem solved.

Re: “First Bite: {Pub}licity Opens in Bellevue

Hi SL,

I'm the General Manager at {PUB}licity and I'm happy to answer some of your questions. Please know that I've been regularly keeping up with our Facebook Page and have been featuring some of our draft beers as well as uploaded a menu and answered guest questions.

Our current selection of draft beer includes Hoegaarden, Schlafly, Kronenbourg 1664, Lagunitas, Rogue, North Coast, Blackstone, Yazoo, Guinness and Kostritzer. This list will be ever rotating, so you likely won't see the same beers every time you come in (unless you visit everyday.) We also have a decent selection of bottles as well and I've trained the staff well in helping to recommend beers to guests that may be unfamiliar. Once we can get in high gravity beers, we will of course, offer more.

Our Fish & Chips have been well received so far, but please, come in and judge them for yourself. Unfortunately, I've had to open with Heinz Malt Vinegar as that was ordered prior to my employment here. I will try to get in London Pub or Sarson's Malt Vinegar as those are personal favorites.

Non-smoking as we are all ages, and I wouldn't classify us as fully British. Because we're a gastropub, we have different types of food but we are striving to be our own entity. We won't for instance, be showing soccer 24/7 or only serve Pimm's Cup. In the future, we'll have Beer Dinners and Brewer's Nights as well as Daily Specials and shuffleboard.

If you have other questions, please feel free to email me at publicitynash@gmail.com or stop by and introduce yourself. We're very friendly and like to keep regulars coming in. Hope to meet you soon.
