Thank you for the support Jacob! As the article states, I am not concerned with party labels. When it comes to elections, I always vote for the person and never adhere to voting down a party ticket. I have voted for the two major parties and a few independent or third party candidates.
To address Gast's comment, Democrat is a broad term. In New York I might be considered a Republican while in the south I am considered a Democrat. Rather than use this term and add to the ambiguity, I prefer for my views to be looked at individually rather than the broad scope of a group.
As a point of clarification, I'm more of a fiscal moderate*. My fiscal views are governed by my experience in different businesses. The decisions made by our government must have sound reasoning behind them like a business would make. For example, I support increasing spending on education in Tennessee because it shows direct links to economic and job growth.
