Re: “96-year-old Woman Who Voted During Jim Crow Is Denied Photo ID”
Look, I had to do some business once and found out that my SS# had never been changed from my maiden name although I had been divorced for 17 years but still using my married name. I had to go through hoops to get my SS in the name I was currently using including trying to find my marriage certificate from nearly two decades ago. It had nothing to o with eing Black. It has to do with the ability to PROVE who you are! Ultimately, I got it taken care of but if I hadn't I would have had to revert to using my maiden name. And so it goes!! So, what was keeping her from getting a voter id in her maiden name? They were not denying her a voter id card. They were denying it in a name she could not prove was hers. Are ALL democrats so vapid and stupid as you guys? No wonder Dumbama is your BOY!
