Re: “Coming to a Billboard Near You: Tennessee Is the New Greece

The story is accurate and the facts speak for themselves - no matter how many what ifs you guys throw at it. That you guys cannot (or won't) understand the simple math probably explains why you are so keen on reducing the size of the federal government which will directly result in significant financial losses to the State in which you live. Oh well. You guys are in charge. I feel sorry for those who will need help form the State in the coming years.

Moost, what are you talking about? Look at the economist chart. Tennessee received $81 billion more in federal spending than it paid in taxes from 1990-2009. It's got nothing to do with recent unemployment.

Don't mean to be a buzz kill but it's pretty much common knowledge.

Moost, don't you mean that TN gets almost 30% more than it pays in? Where does .02% come from?
