Boots Randolph Lives!
Thanks for channeling Music City's late great saxman (by way of Benny Hill) to suggest the Titans' late game performance against Jax. Many folks are familiar with the Bootster's theme "Yackety Sax" but may not realize they're hearing him this season at every mall that pipes in Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." That is to say, incessantly.
But for real connoisseurs there are Boots' magic two choruses in Elvis' "Reconsider Baby."
He's been gone five years now, but the melody lingers and lingers.....
