YES!!! More sidewalks in the highly pedestrian neighborhoods! I live in the 12 South area and everyday we see people trying to walk to our 2 wonderful parks/grocery stores/retail areas with children, dogs and strollers. There are no sidewalks along most of Gale Lane. Kirkwood, and more are needed on Leland.
I have called public works and requested them for years! We have a multi-million dollar community center and a new park. We need to get our children to them safely!
Oh Lordy..judging a city on the ubiquity (or not) of soy milk. I do agree about the lack of healthy options at a lot of the restaurants. But where exactly did she eat that offered that healthy options?
I also agree that she should have gone to "East Nasty" for the best new restaurants in Nashville...and I live in the "Uber hip" 12 South area!
Haha Mr. Pink.
As a "12 Souther", I know this intersection and it is tricky.
I LOVED Delvin Farm's CSA and would still be a member except that I grow my own veggies now. They really escalated the whole CSA/local produce movement. And I always found them to be honest, gracious people. A shame about this really...
I saw this..it was hilarious but too profane for me to share. But seriously, SS card...no, Armed Services card..no, Gun Permit..YES!?
I myself like "Floodplan" because it seems to have the ability to deal with excess water. I do really like the winner, but that looks extremely expensive and I know of 2 metro projects in my neighborhood that are planned but yet to be started...el ciudad no tienen el dinero. si?
