Re: “The Hippodrome: The Quarterback Battle Heats Up To Tepid

I was a partial season ticket holder when the 2004 lockout happened. Some of the things that they did was give us gifts autographed hockey sticks, banners, special hockey pucks and such as an apology and I am sure full season ticket holders probably got more than that. the payments continued on schedule as had been agreed to. When the dust settled, we were given options as to what would happen to the money we had already paid in. We had lost an entire season so we could have the payments go toward the new season as is with a couple of free games tossed in as laid out on paper (games chosen by the team for select amount of tickets and such) We could change our season ticket commitments up for bargain basement prices. The payments could have also been suspended and continue when the games resumed but you would not be entitled to any of the gifts or bonuses if you suspended payments. It has been quite awhile so I may have some of the details incorrect but I do not think that I am too far out of the ball park and i am sure that current owners have ideas like this but no interest on payments or complete refunds will be offered by the team i am sure.
