Re: “Mensheviks vs. Bolsheviks: Infighting Consumes Occupy Nashville on Eve of Eviction

Now, you do have a point there, Inglewood. I will say, i've been on the ground and seen, actually seen all of this stuff go on practically from day one...down to the beginning of this year. (Food poisoning, helping out a friend, and getting sick. Not the best opening to a year, but there's been worse.) It is just one story among many...but as i've stated myself..

"You shouldn't just go on someone else's say so. Find out for yourself."

We started out as something amazing. It failed miserably when people stopped telling other folks "No"..stopped standing up for each other..and let people play the games that occurred. OCN has been played. Big time..but a single person. Amazing isn't it? They beat the state but got destroyed by a single fellow. It used to be we handled problems within the day, or 24 hours. We went from that to a few months go by and we're still arguing about petty BS. Then we have folks saying "We're not Anti-Capitalist"...when the aforementioned crazy declares frequently that his mission is to kill Capitalism. And on and on and on.

Heck, we had things happen they *knew* were wrong. They were so worried about their image, but when it came to dealing with things that would harm that image, and their ability to work with the people..they just didn't care. If the press got involved, then they suddenly cared. I can't tell you how many times i've heard intelligent, grown people tell me that the problems would somehow fix themselves and just go away on their own...how is that going to fix the problems in society?

And speaking of fellows, Jason apparently got removed from the Occupy Nashville forums. I wouldn't be giving the dude any bail money...especially since he might cop a fit and bail with the cash. Also....it should be noted he is the single, lone admin on a Private Occupy Nashville board. Just saying.

In a nutshell. Its over. They did it to themselves. Once upon a time i'd have stood with them. But when folks won't even stand up for themselves..there's little to stand up for..and if they can't even fix their own problems (or won't)..then what do they really care about the rights of others, other than a convenient excuse?

I am *highly* proud of what it did stand for. It was amazing, it was good, and it was headed in the right places. What it passes for now is a sad mockery, nothing more..and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Re: “Mensheviks vs. Bolsheviks: Infighting Consumes Occupy Nashville on Eve of Eviction

LOL, Joey or Trillian? The usual "I can't be bothered to read things."

Amazing, you can post material, but you can't actually read that:
-The warning was about someone that is still with the group.
-The actual person has flat out stated they are no longer with the Occupiers.(You mentioned earlier it was from an Occupier.)
-It pretty well slammed Dixie, who you also brought up. (Sad that I've had to agree with her on some things lately..but its *amazing* how she has a lockjaw on certain elements but ignores everything else.)

As far as investigating a person for putting up a warning? Go right ahead. It just goes to show how retarded you are. I do recall the same blog also talking about people throwing around "Fascism" like its candy, too.

Oh, right, and you select inserts while ignoring the context. The Trillan troll again. Only, you can't be bothered to use your real name. Always were quite the coward.

(Yes, it is my blog, before the more obvious of you leap at it.) It also goes to show that what remains of Occupy Nashville can't take a bit of criticism..that it is divided between folks that care only for their personal faction or their own damn ego...and a few tired and worn out people that *do* still care caught in the crossfire. Those are the only heroes left in a movement that has largely betrayed itself some time back. You can't even decide what you *do* stand for..and you can't even be straight or consistent in that message.
The Three Points got put aside for "Hey, whatever gets press attention."

People said things and got ignored or pushed aside. You get what you ask for, now have fun getting arrested.
Jason, Dorsey..the majority of them left are childish and seemingly about everything *but* actually helping the people. Unless of course the press is involved.

Oh, and don't tell them to fix things. That's too much trouble, not worth their time, and just silly as "the problem will go away by itself." (Which is why I left.)

Good luck changing government by repeating the same. Good luck sticking it to one random blogger tired of the petty BS. And good luck heralding your respective causes when you can't even get past, much less get over yourselves.

Re: “My Night with Occupy Nashville: Blue Moves' Amanda Cantrell Roche

Dixie and truth should never be used in the same sentence. This lady spent time and was actually in the encampment...Dixie has never been bothered to actually *read* things..has never spent more than a few moments in the camp..and may well be soon involved in more than one lawsuit for her repeated smear campaigns.

If you want the facts, go to the source, then come to your own conclusions.
