Re: “TEP to Lead Statewide Equality Rally

thumbs up and LOL @ the protip. Tents optional :) - though we SHOULD note that the state is charging TEP something like a $400 'security fee' for 4 hours of 'security' for a 1 hour rally, on the people's plaza.... freedom of speech and rally where?

Re: “Mensheviks vs. Bolsheviks: Infighting Consumes Occupy Nashville on Eve of Eviction

Re: “Rep. Richard Floyd Warns 'People Will Marry Dogs, Cats and Horses'

PROOF that your state elections MATTER! I wonder how he's going to feel when all next week his office and bathroom is filled with transgender folks from open to close. Hell, I'm not transgender and I'm ready to go put on a dress and sit in this bastard's office to make a point.

Re: “Nashvillian of the Year Tom Nelson: Jekyll or Hyde?

I think the difference was actually in the law - for Occupy Nashville, there was no current laws/rules about being where we are on the plaza, on state property... whereas in the prior case, there was existing law, and he followed the letter of the law in both cases.
