Visited the Omni's Kitchen Notes restaurant and a had great experience. The service was top notch and the food amazing. The management team and culinary staff must have local roots, because they have creatively engineered a menu that celebrates Nashville. I had the Hot Chicken and it was spot on. The dining room (and the entire property) are stunning. We valet parked at the hotel, had dinner, then a short walk ( most of it through the hotel) to a show at the Bridgestone. Valet was complimentary with dinner. This is our new pre-show, pre-game spot.

Sad news. Mr. Egerton's book "Southern Food" as been a favorite southern food reference for over 20 years. I was such a fan that I looked up Mr. Egerton in the Nashville phone book and gave him a call. Not only did he take my call, but he visited my restaurant where we talked food for hours. My sympathy to his wife and family.
