Re: “Harper Collins Will Acquire Thomas Nelson”
My experience has been that HarperCollins has not interfered with Christian authors, nor with Zondervan. I don't expect that they will mess with a reputable publisher such as Thomas Nelson. (And I have some experience with Nelson, having written the script for a video they produced.)
I wrote a business book, COMMON SENSE BUSINESS, published by Collins in 2005. I quoted scripture, talked about faith, mentioned my associations with Billy Graham and Corrie ten Boom, and they did not edit one word.
And, by the way, there are other reputable Bible publishers, including Tyndale and Broadman and Holman.
