Re: “Sugar Social: An Exclusive Dessert and Cocktail Experience

Agreed! We were there at 1:30 because we paid the extra 10 bucks (total of 35) and even the FIRST trays of dessert looked less than stellar. There were literally only two (maybe three) homemade things and some Jello shots (college party?) ... the majority was purchased candy that I could have gotten from Publix. The facility was overrun with people and there were maybe 10 chairs in the whole place and ONE hightop table to place your plate and eat. Lots of people left without getting their "swag bag" because the line was so long and the rooms were SO dang hot. Very disappointing. The event I attended was worth about 10 bucks, not 35. Even with the livingsocial deal (2 for 35 bucks) I felt it was overpriced.

Re: “Sugar Social

Same here!! They make it look like it's going to be multiple tables with tons of stuff by posting multiple photos of events, but really, it's one table with purchased chocolate covered espresso beans I could get at Publix and some homemade cookies and two flavors of vodka jello shooters. The "cocktails" were one ounce samples served from a tiny bar that was overcrowded for the space in a room that was so hot people left without even getting their "swag" bags. What I attended today was worth about 10 bucks, not 35.
