Re: “M Street's fourth venture beefs up the Gulch with a pricey palace of protein at Kayne Prime

@ Kay: a reviewer should at least be able to completely $$ tour through the menu, leaving only a handful of items un- sampled. Going out to eat with a couple of friends, ordering 5 or 6 menu items & then "reviewing" it is a rather feeble attempt, don't you think? Perhaps I, as well as other readers shouldn't take these so-called reviews so seriously. Let's say: I were to meet you Kay, speak with you for 5 minutes, & then comment to the free world what kind of person you are(judge). Would that not be short-sided? I believe so. Thus, the real restaurant reviewers/critics venture out to eat a couple of times & then review. Stop playing "dress-up." Thank you anyway.

Re: “M Street's fourth venture beefs up the Gulch with a pricey palace of protein at Kayne Prime

By all accounts the once-anemic dining scene has way surpassed the restaurant review scene. Across the board, the reviewers eat at an establishment 1 time, on a shoestring budget, & somehow craft an objective review. Bush-league. (yet slightly comical at the same time) I wish someone with an ounce of talent & industry comprehension would stand up & stop wasting my time with their lame attempts. For some reason I always look forward to the next review. Then I read other city newspaper restaurant reviews & I immediately reach for the bottle. Anyone out there? Nashville is a great place to live. Please?
