This is awesome news. While it is very sad that the state I was born and raised in has a population who at an astounding rate decided to codify discrimination into law I am glad that something greater is coming in to rectify this moral failure of the people of Tennessee. As Dr. King said, 'The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.' we can rest knowing that this moral arch he speaks of isn't dependent upon the approval of humankind.
A lot of people are fleeing to Nashville from places like California beause they can't make it here. You can't just have a degree from a state a po dunk college to get a job at Stanford, Google, Oracle, Pixar, Apple, Genentech, (the list literally never ends). You've got to be at the top of your game and places like the bay area are where only the best can thrive. Places like Nashville are easy and it doesn't take much to make it there so of course it's going to attract folks. When you can buy a MacMansion for less than the price of a studio apartment in San Francisco then of course your going to get the refugees from other places.
I'm sure many southerners are happy that the days of gunning a n***** down in the streets have returned. White Trash America is certainly alive and well.
Is the entire south just a lost cause? Every time I read something about it I start wondering if the theory of evolution is really true because the south is the greatest argument there is against it.
The biggest argument there is against evolution is the south itself. It defies all natural and spiritual laws. The "Monkey State" strikes again and loses.
