Re: “A dispute goes public over an actor dismissed from a local production of Rent

This is not unbiased reporting-very slanted in favor of Mr. Riggan. Many details were left out regarding his inappropriate comments + handling of the situation, not to mention that the actor who replaced Rice was older and of bigger build. If Riggan was so concerned about Rice's 'look' from the first time he saw him, he shouldn't have been cast in the first place.

Riggan has been a controversial character in the Nashville theater community before, only to leave town while the waters calmed.

The article also makes it sound as if Coleman left the production out of distress over the situation. Not so. After launching her tirade of ignorance to the detriment of Mr. Rice, she left the production to work elsewhere...for more money, another 'selfless' act by a truly 'Christian' and 'selfless' actress.

As for the production closing early, Karma's a ...well, you know.
