I'm pretty sure the skillet would have to be broken in with a recipe from that book. Been wanting to check out Hog & Hominy for a while, seriously need to plan a trip out to Memphis...
@mike - thanks for the Just-Glass recommendation! had looked into another glass recycling company before but they didnt venture to the 37211. glass recycling still one of my biggest Nashville pet peeves.
I gave them a good 'ol FB like! A Dog Fish Head night would be awesome
Ditto to the above comments on food quality. New decor is great, and still a good place to grab a drink while you stare whistfully at the water and OPB's - but the food has got to be kicked up a notch. Felt like they were attempting to make it healthier, and more refined, but with cheap ingredients. Either do the refined menu some better justice, or keep up the seafood classics (and friend pickles) we all loved before!
@TL - my thoughts exactly...
Sunset Grill is certain to happen before the end of the year. Although I wish i could eat at just about all these places again before the year is up...
We love us some Las Cazuelas. The fajitas for 2 could easily feed a family of 4 for under $15 and they are delicious. We often get the singular fajitas and its more than enough for the 2 of us. Also a great place to pick up some food to go if you are in a hurry.
Plus giant mugs of beer are oh so cheap.
