i agree that this is bull. nashville is definitely not the best music scene in the country. and to be fair, i will give my idea of music scene: local bands playing local bars/clubs/etc. when was the last time you saw jack white playing the springwater or betty's? i would have to say jack white, black keys, and kings of leon don't count. that being said, what was the last really good local show you went to? how about the one before that and the one before that? in fact -- someone please name 10 rock bands FROM nashville who currently play on a frequent basis IN nashville. if we can't come up with 10, it 'aint a very good scene... if we can't come up with 50, it 'aint the best one in the country.

how many of those bands you listed are currently doing shows?
