Saw Ginn's Black Flag a couple of years ago-twice with Ron Reyes and a really crappy drummer and once with Mike V and a better drummer. It was cool hearing Greg's guitar but the sound as a whole was not the Black Flag I know. As they didn't play anywhere near Nashville that year I didn't get to see Flag live but watched a bunch of their videos and hoped that they would tour again and come here. These guys have the sound, energy and passion that is Black Flag and I cannot wait for this show! Sucks that it's on a Tuesday though.
No doubt about it....Gold Rush.
Cochon Butcher is without a doubt my favorite new restaurant in Nashville. Making the cross town drive from my home at least once a week, I am working my way down the sandwich menu and only a few remain that I have not tried. The boudin is sublime and available to take home which in my case has made watching a Titans game more bearable.
@Barbara Please I recommend you go to the bar and order your takeout there. They will deliver it to you and, if you are so inclined, you can enjoy a beverage while you wait.
Hard to beat a bean roll at the Gold Rush for a filling inexpensive meal.
No concert or show is complete without first visiting the Gold Rush.
I still enjoy a bean roll at the Gold Rush.
Anyone know of any Burns Night celebrations going on this weekend?
