There is a Firehouse Subs near my parents' place in northern VA and the only real redeeming factor about this place are the free plastic fireman hats.

Do chips and homemade salsa! It's incredibly easy to make salsa and you can make big bowls of it.

I think that to stay competitive they would need to do much more than basic milkshakes. The taco truck and grilled cheeserie offer really unique products which is part of their charm. While I think this idea has potential, but it won't be able to generate a large following with just chocolate and vanilla shakes. We can get those at McDonalds for $1.
