Dear Mr. Brady,

I read your review about "In The Heights" and I must tell you that you really missed the mark on this one. While I respect your right to voice your opinion, I will not allow your review to be the only present on this page. In The Heights has a powerful message that many people relate to. You don't need to know my history with this show, nor what its message and cast members have done for me. All you need to know is that there are thousands of people who embrace this show and who are proud of this cast. They leave their hearts on the stage every night. The energy this show conveys cannot be described, it's meant to be witnessed. While the music and story did not appeal to you, I think you it was very rude of you to leave your racist words dripping in distain about this show. I understand that the community, story, and characters may not look familiar to you, but you should know they all exist in cities across the globe.

The saddest part of all is that you missed such a great show. You will never again be able to see "In The Heights" for the first time. I encourage you to see it a second time and be sure to watch with an open mind. Understand that this show hosts a melting pot of cultures and races. Whether on the stage or behind the scenes, I promise you that this show employs various races, yet a closed minded viewer would only see the show no further than the stage and the performers on it. That's your own ignorance to deal with, the point of my response, is you will never live a full life being as closed minded as your words have confirmed you to be.
