Some people need to reevaluate what "Historic" means. The building itself has no special intrinsic value of its own, it's not a detailed gingerbread Victorian House they are pulling down. If it had unusual architecture or some feature worth saving, maybe it would be worth keeping. Strip reusable materials incorporate it into the new building. Ask the owners to incorporate some sort of plaque with the Rose logo, or plant some rose bushes and a marker. I see a rectangle stone building. People do NOT know how or when to move on. There are a few abandoned residential Gingerbread Victorians around Murphressboro that need saving, why not put your resources into saving those?
