Re: “Relocated to the Gulch, a stunning and enlarged Virago cuts a dramatic profile”
I do not think it is fair to say that the atmosphere overwhelmed the food. They should exist as two separate entities. What if the opposite was the case and you walk into a place where atmosphere is lacking, but the food is exquisite? Then all the matters is the food. It seems to me in all your I'm not cool enough for this place babbling that you are expressing an insecure sentiment that those of us confident enough to go to a place for the love of food and not the atmosphere don't really think much about. I'm probably not as superficially cool as some of the clientele, but I know good food when I taste it and that's what will always keep me coming back.
