Re: “DeSano Pizza Bakery Brings Neapolitan-Style Pies to Midtown

@ John R - there is a new place in Hendersonville called Windy City Pizzeria. They do deep-dish "Chicago style" pizza. I haven't been so I can't even state an opinion on the quality. There are some pictures of their pizzas if you look them up on Facebook.

Re: “From Restaurant to Retail — Two New Foods You Can Take Home With You

#1 would be Richie's Hot & Spicy Castle, closely followed by Martin's BBQ.

Re: “Mobile Food Followers, How Do You Track Your Trucks?

In addition to the already mentioned spots, I find this site useful. You can click on each truck's name to see their latest tweets. That is helpful to me because I can't access twitter at work.

Re: “Fire in the Hole! Pepperfire Spiced Chicken Opens on Gallatin Pike

@ Shannon - I haven't tried it yet. I intended to this week, but the pastor quesadilla from the cart in the same parking lot caught my eye first. I also am curious.

I'll let you go first (since it's in the old Jenna's Toybox locale).

I just had lunch from here. Breast quarter, extra hot, and fries.
I would say the extra hot was very similar to Prince's hot. I enjoyed it immensely. Seems like a very nice guy as well.
