Re: “Mexican MiĆ©rcoles: One Excellent Liqueur to Look For and One You'll Never Find

I have a bottle of Xtabentun as well! I use it to make tequila sazeracs, it works quite well.

Re: “Haslam Balks, Will Not Sign 'Monkey Bill' [Updated]

@Lynn Adams - The bill was essentially drafted by Creationist think tanks. It uses a shield of 'academic freedom' to allow teachers who are against things like evolution and/or climate change to teach their 'weaknesses' with legislative protection. The law is unnecessary and singles out topics that conservative Christians have traditionally had problems with. Hope this clears things up.

I also wrote Gov. Haslam a letter which I posted to my blog: http://paleocave.sciencesortof.com/2012/03…

Re: “Stacey Campfield on the Origins of AIDS: "It Was One Guy Screwing a Monkey"

The Radiolab podcast has an awesome piece about the origins of HIV, well worth a listen for anyone interested in, y'know, truth and stuff.

Re: “Bloggers Are Ruining it For Everyone, Part Eleventy-Billion

Don't historians rely on journal accounts from normal people to figure out what life was actually like in the past? I guess they could always just play the Sims if anyone of them still has a CD drive...
