This is very very sad. I do not think this was what Georgia O'Keefe had in mind when she gave this collection to Fisk. It was very clear what she wanted and this is not it. What Fisk needs is
a new President and Board that knows how to run a university. Ms. O'Leary has done nothing but intimidate and turn people away from Fisk. Until O'Leary became President there was always a member of the Frist family on the Board. Mrs. Martha Ingram and many other people that had means to bring money into Fisk. I am sure Dr. Frist and the Frist Museum have given Fisk the opportunity to do great things with that art collection but thanks to Ms. O'Leary's ego and bad public relations in this community that did not happen. Now the art collection will be gone from the Nashville community and the African American institution that it was given to.
With the rich and prestigious Alumni Fisk has I find it very hard to accept that they have let this happen.
