Re: “New doc Waiting for "Superman" opens a fierce debate about public education

Conscientious Segregationalist and Truth Hurts, I think that it is sad that you both have such a dislike of Black Americans and neither of you will admit that that is RACIST behavior. If you don't say anything, again I say, then YOU are the problem as well. We are the adults that are here to teach, and if we don't teach, we can't complain. I just want you to be sure that they are indeed Hillsboro students before you make that statement, because regardless of what your beliefs are we at Hillsboro are committed to sending out great people into the world. We do it one student at a time, and not all of them are good students, but we don't give up on them. We either deal with them now or pay for them later. Which will you do???????

Re: “New doc Waiting for "Superman" opens a fierce debate about public education

So let's say that all the problems that happen in the world belong to Black Americans. If you believe this you are seriously flawed. I am simply stating that I am a parent, in the school constantly volunteering and working with all of the students of Hillsboro High. It is not fair to lump all Black students together, there are some White students that have as many problems, I know, I see them. So, before any of us decide that they don't live in a certain area, or that they are ALL violent or that they ALL desire White girls, we should take some time to get to know them ALL. I will say that you should ride the bus without being called a B&*^# or W*&@!, but darling it's not what they call you, it's what you answer to. I just think that if they are not being taught anything different, then maybe, just maybe they don't know another way. Each one, Teach one.

Re: “New doc Waiting for "Superman" opens a fierce debate about public education

Tell me How were yiu able to determine that the Black boys were not from the area? Did they have their zip codes written on their foreheads? And tell me what made you think that the girls were afraid, I am a parent and I am in Hillsboro alot, guess what the little white girls are sometimes the ones that the gang of savage ghetto animals should be afraid of. This thinking is the problem that we have in this society. People are so very quick to judge without taking the time to know what they are speaking about. I for one, as a parent would have asked the students to stop that behavior, why didn't you? If the white girls came in with the black guys, how do you know that they are not friends and were just trying to get a rise out of you? Seems to me that they did, you are a racist and you really don't need to speak because people only know that you have limited intelligence when you open your mouth. Shut up and do something to help, otherwise you are apart of the problem.
