Since I've been known as "The Man From Tennessee" since 1974 (the phrase later used in a song helped promote me), I spilled coffee in my lap when I heard Haslam referred to as "the man" during the commercial. Now that I'm known as "Crazy Man James," maybe his next commercial will include the "crazy" word? A July Mason-Dixon poll concluded that 36% of potential Tennessee voters favor Bill Haslam -- 62% DO NOT FAVOR Bill. A July WSMV TV poll concluded that 32% of potential Tennessee voters favor Mike McWherter -- 68% DO NOT FAVOR Mike. Does that mean somewhere between 62% and 68% might decide to favor Independents?
