Re: “In Amazing Display of Rational Thought, Ramsey Dismisses Secession: 'That's Not a Viable Option'

Another instance of where Mae Beavers demonstrates she is the craziest, wackiest member of the General Assembly. Unfortunately she is supposedly representing me as a resident of Cannon County...Charlotte Burks, where are you when we need you?? Since Texas is so hell bent on seccession, maybe Mae would be more comfortabel moving there...Naww...That's too much to wish for. The Tea Party lied and used every dirty trick in the books to try and get Romney elected...Since that didn't happen they want to subvert Democracy and try every lie and dirty trick to discredit the election...Bunch of bullies and cry babies!

Re: “Tennessee Town Celebrates Mark Twain's Conception

Hicks from the sticks?? What gives you the right to judge people on what they take pride in? Have people of Jamestown read Mark Twain? That's a stupid judgement by someone who obviously thinks they have a superior position in life over what they consider people of a lesser status because they live in a somewhat rural area. I am proud to be from Fentress County...and yes...I have read all of Mark Twain's prolific works. You make it sound like people from there can't even read...Mark Twain would have had a ball with this hypocracy. Sounds like to me you are from "up north" and are prone to say..."we did it this way in New Jersey"...

Re: “Welcome to Tennessee — Try Not To Be a Woman While You’re Here

tdterry...That's right...anything you don't agree with, label it as Communism...McCarthy got away with that and it caused damage to this country that we still haven't recovered from. Your attitude is what has our state in a condition of near collapse from pushing ridiculous restrictive laws and legislation through. You people seem to be taking lessons from the Taliban...If we don't agree...do away with us!

Re: “Sen. Alexander Presses For Protection of Northern Cumberland Ridgelines From Mining

Well, well...Old 99% agree with Bush, Alexander, has finally seen the light on at least one very important issue! It's about time our elected officials begin representing the people that put them in office. Nobody but a few dyed in the wool rednecks would ever be in favor of the destruction of our wilderness areas by blasting them to smithereens...Now let's get it done before we lose any more of our precious pristine areas!

Re: “Zach Wamp's Grudging Concession: 'The Best Candidate Doesn't Always Win'

To the bitter end..."It wasn't my fault...He hit me back first"...What a whiner. I would hate to have to go through another bunch of his campaign BS..."I'm more of a fantatic than you are..." Hang it up Zach...you blew your horn and nobody paid it any attention...
