You might want to take a look at Jeffrey's funders to get an idea of where he stands. He likes to say he's pro union(he even got the SEIU endorsement, along with Eric Crafton and Ronnie Osborne) but he's taken far more money out of state "union avoidance" law firms(such as butler snow) and lawyers then from any other single issue group. You should probably also check out the list of clients for Bass Berry. If they are pro-education then he will be too.
Don't forget Bass Berry has made other lawyers/lawmakers choose between work or the legislature in the past; if they are letting Jeff do both there is probably a good reason, espcially after he announced on "inside politics" he WON'T recuse himself from matters directly affecting Bass Berry clients.
