Took guts, Arnold. Back to doing what you do best. See you soon!
Thanks for mentioning Christian, Laura. All this talk about cocktails...meanwhile Dye and Co. get lost in the background. While I am happy there are people coming in for cocktails, our concept is more shout-from-the-rooftops than "speakeasy", and I would like to shout it out that I am incredibly privileged to work alongside such a great culinary team...and, thanks for feeding me.
someone tell ****** @ East Nashville "blog" that I am the watchdog while he sleeps.
She is a bad-ass...
Who are you gangsta? Step out into the light. And if you might like to discuss the measures HH has taken to ensure the safety of its patrons, you may call me anytime at 615-692-4190. BTW, one of those "patio patrons" was my wife. Coward.
OK, Carrington, I'll jump in here. Since we opened in March, I have drawn looks of ire from The PH faithful, actual hatred, in fact. How dare you exist, HH? Give up now! West Side rules!!Patterson House invented booze!!Like most establishments that serve food and drink, PH and HH are birds of a feather. How come when the fine Miel opened in Sylvan, it wasn't dubbed "Margot West"? And why doesn't anyone say Ruby Tuesday is a lot like Chilis? Whatever it is that people may say, whether it is the "exclusivity" thing, or the pretension and sore attitude thing, the "food is better" thing.... believe me that I have heard it all..When HH has been open for 5 years, and I can assure you, it will, we will hopefully be seen for the restaurant and bar that it is, a local gastropub that takes great care to ensure the quality of experience...Until then, while Nashville gets a little more comfortable with restaurants having epicurian lists being the norm as opposed to the exception, everyone chill out and use these places for what they are for. Have a drink! Lots of love to you, PH. Cheers to you guys (and gals)!
