Oddly enough, the "Death of the Republican Party" was the very same forecast in 2008. Didn't quite turn out that way in 2010, now did it? What occurred yesterday was further proof of an extended polarization of this Nation - virtually, 50% on each side. Generations??? Please. The D.C. Monarchy flourishes in their ensconced two party system. Don't get in the way of all the lemmings headed for the fiscal cliff.

Having lived and worked in the latter portion of Carter's term, I predict the worst stagflation in American history. To appease its sheep for a number of years - even before Obama - the government has radically deviated from its historical reporting measurements for unemployment & inflation. The current real unemployment rate approaches 18%, and anyone that buys groceries, pays rent, etc., knows that prices over the past 4 - 6 years have increased by at least 40% - 50%. The only reason we don't have incredibly high interest rates is due to the Fed's refusal to allow them to reflect the cost of commodities and their outrageous stimulus (printing money) policies. There will come a day very soon that this insane policy will end, and that day of reckoning will give us the double digit unemployment, inflation and interest rates so deserving of the Reid & Pelosi Congress and this Administration. I strongly recommend total abstinence from debt before our Sovereign borrowing costs mirror that of Greece, Spain, Italy and the majority of the EU. I don't believe we have even 12 months.....

Nicki: King Fish is no more. I met the new owners last Wednesday. The new place will focus on (drum roll) BBQ. Jack's & Chappy's don't qualify as "Southern" to me - in fact, the former's location on Trinity Lane may be closer to dogfood - however, I agree defining "Southern" food is as broad as Mountain's "River Deep. Mountain Wide." That said, the best "Southern" is and will always be at my Mom's house.....

For the better part of five years of zero subscriber funding and calls to their office, we attempted to rid ourselves of the Tennessean, and yet it was consistently left at the East Nashville homestead. Finally, the ingenious idea of threatening them with a littering suit seems to have worked - except for the Wednesday BS advertisement delivery. Now, that business should be "shovel ready".....

Since the majority of black on black crimes – an insignificant number by no means – involve a firearm, I suppose by innuendo you’re alleging the perpetuators also have small penises. Sounds racist to me. However, it’s not a stretch of one’s imagination to believe all politicians – on both sides of the aisle – suffer from moderate to serious insecurity and definitely a bad case of megalomania….
