So judging by the... well judgmental tone of your post, I will assume that your "research" found that Nashville didn't do the same things to Toronto, New Orleans, etc. I mean if you were posting such scathing words at other cities then it MUST be because Nashville has NEVER done the exact some thing.

Anyways, all they did was take some business away from places that couldn't accommodate them. Plus unless they released them from entire contracts most of those people sign multi-year contracts (although often not consecutive years) and will still probably be back here in coming years. Opryland has bookings out past 2020. I'm sure we will survive other cities trying to support their workers in a tough economy.
