Why o' why are there so many food related events this Saturday when it's Yom Kippor! So many food options...so much fasting...until sundown!
But has anyone been there and tried the currywurst?! That would be one of Fabulous Husband's favorite things...Will report back if no one chimes in before me.
Nicki-work swallowed me up for awhile...but I'm back!
Barbara Please-I imagine that it's hard for the non chain places to get good foot traffic, and Rosebud is still in kind of a strange location. But make a non chain take out place and you'd be golden I think!
Margaret I love you...it's too hard to get to Sweet 16 and I just don't have time to make my own challah often enough! I'm so excited to try her stuff...
Lesley I have a great recipe for black and whites and when I have time would be happy to make you some!
Went with a group maybe 3 weeks ago. The place was packed, but we enjoyed the atmosphere and those of us who had been there before liked the new, calmer decor. The cocktails and wine/beer menu was nice, and we enjoyed the appetizers that the whole table shared (the white pizza with potato was quite good!) but overall most of us thought our entrees were good but not amazing. I would definitely go back for cocktails and apps in the future, especially during the week when they might not be as slammed.
Went with some friends a couple weeks ago. We thought the chips and salsa was good, and enjoyed the guacamole and the ceviche. Entrees were good but unexciting. Service, like at any new restaurant, left a bit to be desired. Took awhile for someone to decide who was our server, and took awhile to get checks and pay. I'd definitely try it again if someone wanted Mexican, but not sure I'd run back immediately.
"You mean that wan't no single servin' size bottle?"
