We went opening night and it didn't disappoint, despite the lack of non-alcoholic drink options beyond coke products. The feta fries were good, the fried chicken sandwich was surprisingly flavorful and well executed, and the quinoa tabbouleh was fresh and excellent.
Six words: Lockeland Table chocolate chip skillet cookie. Actually, I have complimented Lockelant multiple times on their desserts. It's kind of hard to get a good hot dessert in nashville, but they have knocked it out of the park for me multiple times.
Pinewood is great, service is outstanding, I appreciate their (and Rolf & Daugthers') attention to a mocktail menu as I'm currently pregnant and that can be hard to find, and I agree that their desserts need work.
haven't been to the NFM all summer, but i will be there saturday for this. and yes, i truly miss the zucchini chocolate cake at CB.
>_< -thats me still pretending this isnt happening.
this is super lame but i really miss green hills grille's bread and herb butter.
i believe i was involved in this fb conversation as well. im disappointed you didnt include my nomination, jack!
the dog of nashville is regularly regarded for its onion rings, but i love their fries so, so much.
