LGBT people - not here to be Stacey Campfield's piƱata.
I've never had a bad meal there, either. Love this place. I also almost never do the table grill, and my food has always been delicious.
(I have to disagree about kimchi being impossible to mess up, though, having had a few off attempts from relatives after grandma died, and worse attempts from generic Asian market fridges.)
I'm still astonished that the knoxnews author was able to put "butt-chugging" in the tumblr headline, but felt the need to say "a certain feminine product" instead of "tampon." What, earrings? Pads? C'mon. So in response to "Is this where we are as a state?" - apparently, if we can't even say the word.
Thanks, Betsy! (for both the mention/link and for continuing to draw attention to this)
In the story Betsy linked: "The result was a drastically reduced number of Title X patient visits in Shelby County."
"Christ Community... did not sign the Title X contract until March, five months after the contract was awarded."
"'I think all of us had some gearing up to do in order to be able to create the level of staff available to provide the services...'"
Not exactly a giant leap to suggest that less healthcare was delivered, then.
Please also note his apparently unironic use of the word "chose" throughout his narrative.
Re: “Even With a 78 Percent Kill Rate, The Animal Shelter is the Way to Go”
Karen Luedtke Moore Josephson - how about noting that the quote about funding is specifically attributed to The Tennessean, and can indeed be read in their story if you click the link. It might be a good idea to not misattribute errors while asking for support.
