Sound dude at The End, booker of shows at The End and other places all around, Manager: Look What I Did, drums:Powerbrrrd
BBC office all day
Man bad cops fans seem to talk just like bad cop
Haha I didnt throw a benefit for my dui, some friends decided outside of my suggestion to help me out and it wasnt advertised as such, and wasnt used to enhance the attendance. Plus the show ruled! Call it luck.
And being against hate speech has nothing to do with the music scene, or any pretension about speaking on behalf of anyone other than myself. My preference is to not be around that kind of thought process, my job is irrelevant to the situation. See ya at the next show!
The article is not about the event, and clearly wasnt meant to be. Its an enlightening look into the differences social media and the instantaneous nature of technology have made in the way every cog in the wheel operates on a regular basis. No matter your opinion on someones view of bad cops actions, it seems ridiculous to argue any validity in their response. It was sophomoric and unnecessarily degrading to use that terminology, and the action itself is excessive and a very clear sign of the drama that accompanies the bands members if theyre unhappy. Everyone is right, they arent a big band, but big or small nothing gives anyone the right to act like a vindictive jerkoff and utilize hate terms because someone voiced an opinion. Also, I was born and raised in the south, and seeing southern heritage as a proposed excuse to be completely ignorant of hateful speech is really disappointing. Southern stereotypes come from stupid shit like that mumbled and damn near incoherent "justification" by Adam. And smashing shit that doesnt belong to you doesnt sound righteous to me, it sounds like a temper tantrum.
i especially dig the suggestion that reading any literature implies your agreement with it's context....I've read several tomes i disagree with just as much as mein kampf or any serial killer's manifesto. Digesting information from an author doesn't necessitate agreement and can be a pretty eye-opening insight to aspects of the human condition that a lot of folks don't understand. But hiding yourself from it cause you judged the book by it's cover (literally)....that there is the american way
just seeing this....is it worse to go out of one's way to offend people while getting paid for it or to sit at a computer and go out of one's way to offend some performers and get jack squat? other than a monumentally stellar rep, of course
That there's nowhere to see music may be the most blindly innaccurate statement I've heard in 2012.
i'll circle jerk anytime. maybe a lot of the answers are the same cause that's just who we like eh?
