Fair note, Ol' Hed.
"Waymore's Blues" is "Casey Jones" just rewritten, but we adjusted the post to make that clear. It's the Waylon connection that made it relevant in this context, after all. Thanks!
We welcome piling on when it comes to correcting inaccuracies, so thanks for that Chris. Apologies for the errors — the post has been updated once more.
Whoops. Thanks for the note, BJ. We've updated the post.
With all the covers YLT is known for burning through, we wanted to double-check our notes against anything that might have been posted on Setlist.fm, but a set list for Saturday night's show never popped up.
That's not actually what we said at all.
We went to both!

We wouldn't. We caught another Casa Castile set at The End several weeks back and really enjoyed it. Even then, songs certainly weren't note-for-note renditions of the album tracks, but the flourishes really added something. I mean, Kurt Vile's live versions aren't identical to the album cuts (he's much heavier live, in fact). But, in this instance, we just didn't find ourselves as captivated with CC as we were on the first go-round.
Like we said, though, we like Casa Castile, and we'll keep checking them out. Talented dudes, good songs.
We saw them back in the old days, and "slightly more energetic" would have gone a long way Saturday night.
On the list.
