Manifesto/Bio

Duck River Restaurant opened in Sept 2010. Owner Tiffany Bobo wanted to have a restaurant with a country atmosphere, but a variety of cuisine. She also wanted to have the occasional live music performance in the main dining room. After her partner closed the gift shop in the spring of 2011, Tiffany knew she wanted to expand the music performances. Renovations began on the former gift shop to create a new music venue and meeting hall. Soon after, Tiffany brought her nephew Auggie Hill on board to take over the technical aspect of the renovation and also to oversee the booking of bands and public relations. The first performance was booked for June of 2011. Now they have a live band every Saturday night and some Friday nights, with plans to expand that to every Friday night very soon. The caliber of bands is growing as the venue grows and matures. Despite the country atmosphere, all genres are welcome.
