Re: “Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet

Wonderful place. Buffet food bar was clean and well stocked. Waitress was attentive and made the meal more enjoyable. The area has become a global village.

Re: “Ms. Kellis Karaoke Bar

I will never go back to this place again. They have a huge sign that says "Karaoke" and they claim to have thousands of songs, but after 10 pm you can only choose from about 1/4 of them. That's right, they don't tell you this up front but they will not let you sing any song that they consider a "slow" song after 10 pm. The Guy running the Karaoke has a god complex, and so does the Lady at the bar. When I asked her about the Karaoke policy and why I couldn't sing the 3 doors down song "here without you" (which is NOT a slow song) she told me that if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else, and I could not have a refund on the beer even though I didn't ask for a refund. Nowhere is it posted that you can't sing whatever you want after 10 pm. I am a local guy and I have never encountered such unfriendly people anywhere else in Nashville. I would also like to add that I do not drink much, so this was not an issue of me being some drunk guy that they had to treat this way. I am actually a very friendly and social person with a lot of friends and I can tell you that I was extremely surprised by the bartenders attitude as I was very nice to her. Honestly, the karaoke was no big deal. I can live with or without it, but the way that they talked to me and told me that I could leave if I didn't like it was unacceptable.

Re: “BARK O LOUNGE DAYCARE

Awesome, locally owned, just-the-right-size doggie day care (and boarding). Stacey, the owner, is professional and gives my dog just the kind of love and careful attention I want for him. Prices are very reasonable and the service and care given to my dog and to me are second to none. Loyal patron, Kelly S.

Re: “Urban Grub Fish Pit and Southern Cantina

Great new addition to the 12th South area. Easily the one of the best high-end dining experiences on the West side. Amazing oyster bar, incredible wine list, amazing ambiance, and a must-try for anyone in Nashville. Easily the best new fine dining experience in town right now.

Re: “Chef's Market Cafe and Take Away

We love Chef's Market. I love the 3 salads plate but we usually try something different each trip. The customer service is A+, the desserts delicious, and the food, the best!

Re: “Chef's Market Cafe and Take Away

I LOVE Chef's Market! The hot chicken salad is my favorite dish, and whenever I have them cater an event, I make sure to get this. But, then you can't go wrong with anything, since EVERYTHING they serve is great!

Re: “The Rutledge

First off let me say, the sound system is GREAT.
With that said, the sound GUY is a complete and utter fucking asshole. If you EVER play there be prepared to be talked down and smarted off to while you're trying to do a simple fucking sound check. There's a reason why this place doesn't have a lot of traffic, because of the jerk-off sound guy and shitty booking agent that books whoever he wants with you regardless of what you say and doesn't even notify you before you make show posters after emailing him 10 times in a week.
Yep you have been warned if you want to put up with all that bullshit to play a lousy show there.

Re: “Sole Mio

I hate having to write negative reviews, but if I could save someone from a bad experience, then I feel somewhat obligated. Went to Sole Mio's with a small group celebrating multiple birthdays. Never been before, but we were in the mood for Italian and were going to a show a few blocks away after dinner, so it fit nicely with our plans. We were in a great mood, so it took a lot to bring us down. Every course we ordered was bland and boring, which is inexcusable considering that it is more expensive than other local Italian restaurants that offer the same items. There were no real values on the wine list. Markup was substantial for a restaurant as sub par as it was. Do you know how depressing it is to say "This dish actually tasted better at Olive Garden"? I absolutely hate Olive Garden. It was that bad. I know I might sound somewhat cheap complaining about prices. To clarify, I don't mind at all to pay more for better quality food. But if you can't even beat Olive Garden, then you probably should just shut it down. To wrap the meal up, we got a few desserts for the table. The waiter said they were "taken care of", since we were celebrating multiple birthdays. They weren't. He still charged us anyway. In short, if you like Italian food, don't go here. It's just sad.

Re: “Bricks Café

I arrived at Brick’s on Nolensville Road at 6:35pm, September 25th, to meet a friend for dinner after work. I entered the restaurant and informed the hostess that I was there to meet a friend whom I did not see yet, and that I would wait until my friend arrived before requesting seating. I then exited the restaurant to wait outside since the inside waiting area is quite small.

I strolled leisurely through the sunlit parking lot to a sidewalk that runs parallel to the parking lot. When I reached the end of the short sidewalk, I turned to walk alongside the trees lining the bank of Mill Creek and was about to complete the circuit back to the front of the restaurant to meet my friend when I was confronted by a gentleman who I assume was the manager.

He inquired the reason for my presence and I politely explained to him that I was awaiting the arrival of a friend for dinner and motioned towards her vehicle which had just entered the lot. He then informed me that I was waiting “too close to the cars in the parking lot” and abruptly instructed me to “go somewhere else.” I instantly and politely agreed to leave the lot, and he stood guard as my friend and I pulled away to eat instead at Southside Grill a couple of blocks away.

We will not be back to Bricks.

Re: “Buck Wild Saloon

Eddie, the GM, treated my friend and I like crap & made us move from our seats bc the girls he was with wanted to sit down. Told us he was the owner & we had to get off the stage bc we weren't singing, which we were up next. When he told us to get off the stage, the girls started yelling at us and then one actually pushed my friend off the stage. When the bouncer came, he told the girl that shoved my friend to leave & Eddie told him to kick us out. So we got thrown out of the bar & we were completely sober. The employees even apologized to us. What kind of GM treats his customers like that and pretends to be the owner?!

Re: “A Matter of Taste Fine Catering

What an awesome little hideaway restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious and organic. Try the special of the day, I eat it weekly and it never disappoints!

Re: “Flavour Clothing

Good clothes, horrific customer service. They have an awful return policy that's completely inconsiderate to their customers. Bought a $265 pair of jeans, didn't wear them (or even remove the tags), tried to return them 9 days later, no bueno. The owner wouldn't even give me in store credit. Who does that? I've bought several dozen jeans from them in the past, but that ends today. Time to take my money elsewhere. I give Flavour Nashville 8 months before it's out of business.

Re: “Carmike Hickory 8

This was the most pleasant movie going experience I've had in years! It is an older theater, but it was clean and didn't smell badly. They did check my purse on the way in, so be aware, don't try to smuggle food in.

Re: “B.B. King's Blues Club

WORST service EVER. Tried to have dinner before Americana Awards show. Waitress screwed up drink order (didn't know the difference between Pale Ale and Dos Perros) Food didn't arrive 45 minutess after placing order and ended up going to panera and being late for show.

Re: “Smiling Elephant

This is the best Thai. Food is freshly made and not greasy. I eat here several times a week and alternate the Pad Woonsen, Pad Thai, Daily Curry selection, Pad Kee Mao, Curry BBQ Chicken, and Cashew Chicken. I crave this food and could eat every meal here. If you haven't tried this place, you are missing the best food.
