Re: “The Eric Andre Show Live!

Comparing Eric Andre to Andy Kaufman is like forcing Groucho Marx to eat a banana.

Re: “Matt Moody Record Release/Mandy Peitz Moody Art Show

Matt Moody moved to Nashville almost ten years ago from Lawrence Kansas with his wife Mandy Peitz Moody. He met local producer, Jeremy Ferguson owner of Battle Tapes Studio, and soon began recording what would be his band HANDS DOWN EUGENE’S debut record MADISON, which won best local record in the Nashville Scene’s “Best Of” edition.

Re: “The Stone Roses: Made of Stone

Biggest problem with anything Roses is that Ian Brown's voice, once it leaves the cozy confines of the recording studio, is absolutely awful. It's so bad that its terribleness outweighs the brilliance of John Squire, who would become the best guitarist in Nashville if he moved here.

Re: “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead

What a witty and fun show! It's cool to see Hamlet "behind-the-scenes." The two leads are hilarious, and the rest of the cast is stellar too. If you're looking for an entertaining event for this weekend, I'd definitely recommend checking this out.

Re: “Mary Addison Hackett: Le Rayon Vert

I love this work. Especially the everyday scenes it seems she stood in the kitchen and just painted quickly: "there" . . . . like the coffeepot, the other coffeepot, the coffee pot and spill, the stove, the cell phone charging on the counter, the sink . . . each deserves a special canvas in her world and I agree. SO fresh.

Re: “Swing Dancing

This is a super fun dance. Usually music is provided by DJs, and occasionally some terrific bands plan. As of September 2013, dances are held on the 4th Sunday of the month. Check the Facebook Group for more information: https://www.facebook.com/groups/71425257400/

Re: “Shakespeare in the Park: A Midsummer Night's Dream

A fun presentation of the play and a great way to spend a beautiful evening in Nashville. All the actors do a good job with their roles with the exception of whomever is portraying Hippolyta (her bad dialect and screeching are painful to the ears and her acting below Nashville Shakes standards). The role of Titania is beautifully played, as is Oberon (once I got past his costuming).

Re: “Shakespeare in the Park: A Midsummer Night's Dream

Go see this one ! I've seen Midsummer done many times and this one was the most fun by a long shot ! Wonderful updating, campy wildness, energetic elves, and interactive fun make this story fresh and fun for everyone !

Re: “Nashville Predators Craft Beer Festival

I agree. Mayday Brewery was the first production craft breweries in Rutherford county located in Murfreesboro, TN and is growing like crazy now in over 150 restaurants and bars. Strange they left them out. https://www.facebook.com/MaydayBrewery

Would have been nice to plug Mayday Brewery in Murfreesboro, TN in this article.
