Re: “Neon Trees w/COIN & Fictionist

SO pumped for this show!!! I've listened to COIN's album on repeat for the last month in anticipation, and the fact that they're playing in their hometown makes it that much more exciting :D

I loved everything about this production. It is a MUST SEE! I'll be seeing it again at TPAC next week...can't wait!

Re: “Alien: The Musical

Go see it and you won't regret it! Strong performances by everyone on stage and now at TPAC! It can only be better! Plus it began at a local theater group in Nashville, so it's home grown! See it because you'll be moved in your soul and your supporting local performers, writers, and theatre!

Re: “Alien: The Musical

I saw this show at The Arts at Center Street back in December, it was excellent! From the very beginning to the end I was captivated. The story line flowed so well, and the characters were so real I felt I knew them. I have tickets for the show at TPAC and this time I'm bringing my friends. I've never seen a Musical like this, I highly recommend seeing it.

Re: “Alien: The Musical

My wife and I went to opening night at their home theater house off Center Street. My expectations were blown away. The story line was so compelling and I was entertained from beginning to end. The narrative is universal because it is one that documents the human struggle. I think that the message is relevant for the audience considering the tense social issues we are facing every day in this country.

Re: “Mika No Place In Heaven Album Release Listening Party

I thoroughly love him and his album- his lyrics are dark and melodically happy which made me a mika fan in the first place. Npih is pop genius , and i love 'hurts' and 'good guys' so much

Re: “Heyrocco w/Good English, That's My Kid & The Gad Gods

The Gad Gods are the next Nashville band to make it. Better listen before tickets prices soar.

Re: “Pinholes & Polaroids Opening Reception

The Nashville Community Darkroom is at 1143 Gallatin AVENUE, not Pike. There's a small stretch of Gallatin referred to as "avenue," and we are on it. If you use a GPS, "pike" will take you to Madison.

The NCD is much closer to downtown. Look for the Young's Fashions sign near the intersection at Greenwood—we are next door.

Re: “Art Nashville

The exhibition also features younger Nashvillians like Richard Greathouse, whose portraits are among the best being painted today, and Amanda Hope Cook. Her views of neon signs make you see the city like you haven't seen it before. Cathy Moberg's ceramic trompe l'oeil sculptures are also a must see. If you're not careful, you might mistake them for gallery decor and not the exquisite art pieces they are. Jody Thompson, who's been a fixture in the Nashville artistic community for 15 years, has a grouping of still lifes. They're of everyday objects but they are arranged and painted in a loving manner, more like a portrait. With the mix of youth and Nashville legends, the show is a wonderful encapsulation of the remarkable visual arts that Nashvillians have and are producing. Nashville isn't just a music town anymore. Let’s celebrate our music, our food and now our art.

Re: “Perfect Timing: A Live Comedy Game Show

This show happens the third Friday of every month and will do so through at least the end of 2015! (I've submitted the event to the Nashville Scene calendar multiple times, but they haven't posted it).
