Re: “Stay-at-Home Moms: Can't Afford to Work and Can't Afford Not to

Guys, cut it out.

Jim, I don't know the history of all the earlier posts from Yoyo. I do know that every time he can get you to respond to him like this, you are giving him exactly what he wants. He has posted some ridiculous and untrue things about me before, but I ignore them. Since that's no fun, he doesn't continue. Nobody else believes outlandish posts, so no harm is done.

yoyo, if you want to be taken seriously, stick to posting your opinions about things. Every time you post a playground-level taunt, you are considered to be more of a troll by everyone else.

Re: “Transcendence

The explanations they give interviews Wally Pfister director , screenwriter Jack Paglen , actors Johnny Depp , Morgan Freeman , Kate Mara , Rebecca Hall and film producers , trying to explain the concept of transcendence in their film , and while for some it is quite hard to understand how a man could become a super computer, director warns that if such a thing were to become reality, could become a major threat to mankind Besides these interesting explanations , everyone involved in the production of the film , seems to have the same fear : technology presented in their sci-fi film could ever become reality.
Production sci-fi plot revolves around a group of scientists who are trying to build the first self-aware supercomputer , and when researcher Dr. Will Caster ( Johnny Depp ) becomes the target of extremists antiteologie and shot, he reached the unexpectedly, a participant in its technological transcendence

Re: “TV Review: Does Being on Private Lives of Nashville Wives Make You Famous or Infamous?

I am hoping the season finale will be the SERIES finale. The show is just ridiculous. TNT… what happened to "We know drama"?

As far Lorrie Morgan… I only have 1.5 cents on her. #1 When I worked at the Nashville Palace, she came in and, audibly, said "keep these people away from me." She need not worry. #2 I saw her at Loretta Lynn's release party for 'Van Lear Rose'. Too old for what she was wearing and her skin looked like naugahyde. Her husband, Sammy Kershaw, was very nice and treated everyone, including the wait staff, with respect. NO airs about him!

You have me confused with someone else. I have never attacked your family - they have it hard enough as it is.

Re: “Stay-at-Home Moms: Can't Afford to Work and Can't Afford Not to

Perhaps if you been subject to just a few of the vile insidious attacks he has wrought upon posters (me included) under the various sock-puppet pseudonyms over the past year or so, attacks not just upon MY character, but that of my daughter, my wife, my mother, and those of others, you might have a tad less disagreeable opinion of my admittedly classless and personal attacks. I feel there comes a time in ones life when the more gentile persona is simply insufficient to eradicate the vermin we are often blessed with, and I offer NO apologies for my rather low brow attack. Stay classy if you desire, that I have no problem with, but because of his past pernicious behavior and cowardly rhetoric, I will shrink not one bit!

Re: “White privilege, ethnic kabuki and old problems with the New Nashville

Steve, would you have written this if your party at Two Ten Jack had been seated in a timely manner? Why are you complaining about a $12 cocktail, featuring "orange shrub", that you apparently ordered without someone twisting your arm?

For the record, I've never eaten at Two Ten Jack, and never will if the wait is over 15 minutes. But this article is BS. Axe, grinded. People are prejudiced against each other for ignorant reasons, all over the world. Has always been that way and always will be. You have a strong voice in the paper and can pick your battles, maybe choose one that matters.

Re: “Stay-at-Home Moms: Can't Afford to Work and Can't Afford Not to

Ah, Pragmatist, was I wrong about 300,000 babies being aborted each year? And that leads to the question: Wouldn't it be more civilized to tie a woman's tubes than to kill her fetus?

And now Haslam and Corker have been subpoenaed. But that's not Pith-worthy I guess.

Re: “Swallow, Don't Spit: 'Oil Pulling' Is a Crime Against Food

How obvious it is that a shill wrote this one.... "oh no science hasn't proven it's as beneficial as the claims, so it's wasteful..."

An ancient Aryuvedic remedy couldn't really be that beneficial could it? This guy obviously hasn't tried it himself long enough to see results. The media will constantly be trying to demean and steer our attention away from the natural way...as long as "science" hasn't proven the benefits...gullible people put too much trust in SCIENCE and not enough in NATURE...I'll leave you to think about that one....

Re: “Carr's Campaign Spokeswoman: Carr Doesn't Have "Courage To Be A Leader"

Pragmatist, I make my own points. I have already commented on Carr's behavior. At length. For years. Matheny was reliable when Carr was not. I've nothing more to say to that. Judd does deserve praise, along with Durham, so I'm glad Pate remarked on that situation.

Re: “Stay-at-Home Moms: Can't Afford to Work and Can't Afford Not to

Jim, I'm no defender of yoyo. I almost always disagree with him since he is almost always wrong.

However, your last post is just an attack on him, not what he said. Feel free to post your opinions and refute his stance on things, but please try to stay away from pure ad hominem attacks.

Re: “National Cornbread Festival Update, and a Cast-Iron Quandary

Now, I know it may be rough, but here is one way to season a skillet: fill it with some peanut oil and fry some chicken!! Green scrubbies are good for cleaning too, no soap of course.

Re: “Stay-at-Home Moms: Can't Afford to Work and Can't Afford Not to

Late term abortions (3rd trimester) might be performed for severe fetal disorders but a medical reason, ie, necessary to save the mother's life is extremely rare.

80% of Americans oppose the procedure (2013-Gallup).

I am pro-choice and I agree with the rest of these Americans.

For JC to refer to yoyo as a chronic masturbator is disgusting.

Re: “G.A. Hardaway, Let Me Introduce You to Planned Parenthood

Gardasil vaccinations would prevent external genital warts; the Tennessee prescription drug from Sullivan County expensively treated (not cured) recurring genital warts - that is why the Tennessee Republican Party killed publicly funded Gardasil vaccinations for children in Tennessee.

REALLY??? Was I wrong when I referred to you as a chronic masturbater and the love child of Basil Marceaux?
