Re: “Best New Bureau

Like this was a shock coming from The Scene? How about Iran as your favorite country while you're at it or has Russia skyrocketed with you lefties since they took in Snowden?

Re: “Best Conservative

Only Scene readers would name a Democrat as Favorite Conservative. Keep drinking the Kool Aid.

Re: “Best Morning Drive-Time Listening

Cory, thanks for the shout-out. FYI, I've joined my friend and former co-worker — Miss Cat Beast Party herself — Angie Dorin at WRFN. My show is called "Composition," it focuses on mostly new music and it just debuted this past Tuesday afternoon.

Re: “Best Conservative

Not quite as satisfying as thinking of a replacement who's a Democrat.

Re: “Best Opponent to Anti-Immigrant Zeal

Why doesn't Esquire Ozment take his terrific skills to help central american immigrants who get caught by the authorities in MEXICO? I'll tell you why. Its the deep pockets of us Tax paying gringos!
I just read where 120 were detained by the federal authorities in Mexico were dragged out of the bus they were in and given to local gangs for who know what. Oh my God, Mr. Ozment your services are needed ..please read this article.

Re: “Best Next Mayor

By the way, I think Briley also got involved in the law suit about the English Only referendum, another example of him continuing to care about public issues and weigh in on the right side even from his position in private business. I guess he's got public service in his blood, whether elected or not. I still think it's too early to be this hard on Dean, though.

Re: “Best Next Mayor

I agree that David Briley would make a terrific Mayor, but in all fairness let's give Karl Dean a little more time to undo this first impression. As for Briley running again, now that he is able to focus on the far more personally profitable private practice of law, I wouldn't blame him if he stayed there instead of throwing himself into the thankless world of public service again. --But I sure hope he will consider it.
