You don't have to like Static Revival but please show some respect. It doesn't say much about your character to come on to their thread and talk trash about them where their fans can read it. OK, we get it. Their musical style is not your preference. Instead of taking the time and energy to disrespect them, how about you go to a band's thread that you do like and post some positive comments.
So in other words: If you can't say something nice, keep your fucking mouth shut.

@Mike and Jonny: They draw influences from My Morning Jacket, Wolfmother, Wilco, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit,The Gaslight Anthem, Band of Horses, Manchester Orchestra, Radiohead, and Umphrey's Mcgee you've probably never heard of them before.#fuckinghipsters

I came here to vote for one of these bands, and decided to check out "Static Revival" just to see if my vote was misspent. I had assumed the shameful era of bands like Nickelback, Hoobastank, 3 Doors Down and Creed being successful was thoroughly concluded, but this bloated slice of whine-rock has shown me that dumb never really goes away.

Static Revival is social media savvy as well as a group of talented musicians. Their music may not seem "interesting" to you if you lack intellect to understand their meaning. I guess it's true, the ignorant are always the first to speak! Keep making great music, Static Revival!!!
