Re: “Carmike Hickory 8

To my surprise, this is a great location. The interior is very clean. The carpeted hallways are pleasantly updated and the seating is comfortable. After taking our girls to a movie there, we defintely plan to return. But most of all, we felt safe and their were no unpleasant distractions. The staff was very helpful also. I'm glad we gave this theater a try.

Re: “Boiler Room Theatre

Saw Rocky Horror Show Opening Weekend and Absolutely Loved it! Cannot wait to get back to see this during the midnight showing! Anyone who has ever loved the movie should definitely go see this show! It's so much more vivid! The live band (though sometimes loud) is definitely an enhancement to the rock feel of this show!

Re: “Carmike Hickory 8

I must admit that I was skeptical about going to this theater, but after reading the posted reviews, we decided to give it a try. To my surprise, not only did we enjoy our movie, Zookeeper, but we were highly impressed with the interior of this theater. From the hallways, to the carpet and actual movie seats, we were very proud of our decision. Our kids and their friend also enjoyed the movie very much. As of 10/3/11, I proudly give this theater a 5-star rating. Keep up the good work guys!

Re: “Nashville Nightlife Theater

Well I really don't know what to say but honestly bad experiecnce and not worth the price at all. There is a reason they bus people in, not something I would recommend in fact just the opposite.

Re: “Joe's Crab Shack

My first experience at Joes' was at Nashville. Excellent staff and service. The menu is full of the best seafood. There is other choices, but if you love seafood, you will love Joes'. They have a huge selection of the best crabs available anywhere. Every size appetite is offered a big selection. From a bucket of shrimp to my favorite the one and only "Bean Town Bake" Which includes not one but two whole lobsters throw in some clams, shrimp, corn on the cob, sausage, onion all served in a big roasting pan. Everything was cooked to perfection! I can sum up my experience at Joe's Crab Shack in three words. "I LOVE IT" When I returned home I immediately went to their website and found another location closer to me. I have been there about 6 times or I should say I drove there just to eat at Joes' 5 times and once I was in near there. It is about an hour and 45 min drive. Easy 7 out of 5 stars!

Re: “Springwater

I love Spring water,It was one of the first bars I ever went to when I turn twenty one,I make it a point to go when I'm in Nashville,I always see a regular, and a few new faces.I have also done a few vintage clothing sales along with other folks selling jewelry, art and music in the past,I would do it again how ever things have changed,I had an envelope with important documents stolen from my purse the last time I went, after three days of it missing I got copy's and duplicates of the missing documents,I called spring water to let them know that I had copy's of the missing personal information and to be on the safe side would like to fill out a police report so that my original documents could not be used in a malicious way,And the gentleman that I spoke with exclaim that I was Drunk in a rude matter, when I lost that paper work,as if it were my fault that a thief take something from my bag, yes I exclaimed I was drinking, but I was not falling down drunk and that does not condone someone stealing from me,if everyone got robbed when they had a drink in a public place that serves alcohol, in a bar, then people wouldn't drink .I push on that I was still making a report and politely got off the phone, feeling a bit put off ,I was about to call and make my report when the Pizza guy that is connected to spring water Bigheads rock-n-roll pizza called to let me know that my enveloped documents had been found and that I could pick it up,The not so funny part about this is that money was also missing, how ever the thief was glad to leave me twenty dollars of my own money, feeling like a thief has not much sympathy for stealing, why would they leave just some of my money,I had drew the conclusion that it must have been someone that I knew, but i really didn't know anyone well there ,so who's to say who it was?all I know it,THEY GOT OUT OF ME FILLING OUT A POLICE REPORT,and to me that is shady,I want be back to Spring water, for a long, long, time, and if or when I do,I will make sure to leave my purse locked in my car!THANKS BUT NO THANKS SPRING WATER!

Re: “B.B. King's Blues Club

Average food, bad service, crummy plastic decor...not really what you'd expect at these prices. The music was just...OK.
I'm sure they just rent BB Kings name and that he doesn't have anything to do woth the running of the place. better take a loom Riley! Its your name on the marquee!

Re: “War Memorial Auditorium

It's so great to have a venue in town that offers seats with a great view and the option to stand in a crowd.

Re: “The End

Blown away by PLANET INK this past Friday, 2 September. Dynamic, non stop action, solid vocals by all three of them, crazy rifs, beat the hell out drums and the bass is off the chain. Sounds like way more than three people on stage. Can't wait to get them back in Nashville.

when there singing on stage. There was this Blonde Karaoke DJ that had a Voice. She
made you not want to sing just to listen to another song from her. Run dont walk to this Bar! Always a good time.

Re: “Ms. Kellis Karaoke Bar

I can say, I have had a GREAT time at Ms.Kelli's sence I have been in town. Every time I go in they treat me like Family and that by it self is Better than any other bar in town. The Bar Manager Sherri told me they have a saying. Enter a customer, leave a
Friend. It seems to be true. So many of the bars on Broadway or second are nothing but a tourest trap. They see nothing but new people every day. Its all about Money. I
know everyone is in business to make money, but I want to be at a bar that wants me
to be there. The patrons of this place are friendly, and enjoy having a good time. How
much more could you want

out and youll see what I mean. Ps. Watch out for the Jellow
Shots! One or Two and youll be feeling Mighty Fine. Four or
Five an you'll be Dancing on the Bar. There Cheap, but NOT
Weak. You will find me there Wed, Thurs, Fri and Saturday.
Just look for the Guy having all the Fun Dancing an Singing

Re: “Jackson's Bar And Bistro

Ashley's review is probably BS. What's more likely is that Ashley doesn't realize that when you pay your bill with a credit card, they preauthorize for the amount on the check before tip is added. When you add your tip it doesn't show up until the transaction settles with the bank a day or two or three later. They probably didn't call her back because they looked at the receipt and saw that both times they charged for exactly the amount she signed for. In addition, Ashley is probably mildly retarded.

Re: “Starlite Club

I played in the band with Clyde Austin (Bass and singer) and his brother George Austin the drummer in 1957..We played sometimes 6 nights a week and the place rocked then. I was the tenor sax player (Reed Harrod)...Sis was a wonderful lady to work for and our band had a terrific stay there.....It is awesome that the Club is still going strong into the 21st Century...

Re: “Lipscomb University, Ward Auditorium

I am so sorry American taxpayers had to pay millions and millions of dollars to have a sculpture of MARTIN LUTHER KING sculpted by a CHINESE SCULPTOR in China.

What has China ever done for MLK or his dream?

We Americans must try harder to keep AMERICAN Artists in America FIRST when it comes to doing work of this size.

Tony Tasset is so talented and inovative I believe he would have been a great choice for this work.
