Re: “Alkebu-Lan Images Bookstore

Vendor Warning - This customer does not pay for purchase orders from vendors, do not do business with them unless you want to get ripped off and never get paid for your merchandise. The management (Yusaf Harris) will repeatedly tell you they will take care of it next week and after five times, it becomes pretty obvious you will never be paid. **DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION**

Re: “The Great Escape (Charlotte)

Couldn’t agree more with the above comments. It's almost like they just watched High Fidelity and came into work thinking are cool as shit. Assholes - If you so DAMN cool that it’s a bother for you to HELP me BUY something from your store maybe you should re-think your life strategy. You are working in a record store at least have the decency to be civil and help someone out without be condescending and rude to a fellow music/ comic lover which is why I assume your working there in the first place. Retail is a customer service industry job last time I checked. NO one has time for your bullshit attitude - Id love to speak with whoever is in charge of you fuckers!

Re: “The Great Escape (Charlotte)

Frist off I've been shopping this store since the 90's and although I wouldn't sell anything to them the comics are reasonably priced. Games on the other hand are crazy. Games that should be chep are way to much $. The staff are not helpfull ether. They act like your bothering them if u ask about the stuff they sell. All they will say is you have to find it yourself or just leave(saying they can't look up what they have in stock). That's not how a shop dependent on us loyal customers should be. Over all I like the place but they need to realize that their not the only place to shop for the stuff they have.

Re: “The Great Escape (Charlotte)

Do not buy or sell here! They are absolute crooks and will NOT offer you a fair amount for your items. If you bring in items approximately worth $150 retail you can expect a $45 offer. They are still going to sell it for $150 though! Anybody that's that shady with their business does not deserve your business. My family, friends, and I are never going back and I would recommend you do the same!

Re: “Dizzy's Dog Wash and Corner Store

Get yer dog washed or DIY, diverse stock of quality pet products and a knowledgeable lady running the show. Her husband is a great guy and is the receptionist for the dog wash side. Interesting people hang out on Saturday in the yard waiting to wash. Reservations recommended!

Re: “Bookman/Bookwoman Rare & Used Books

Looking for a book? You'll find it here. And I dare you to ask a staff member if they have something. There are thousands of books in that store, and they know every one of them.

Re: “Nashville Farmers' Market

I'm still amazed at what a good time I had at the Night Market. I hope it becomes a permanent fixture. Note: parking becomes an issue anytime after 7pm.

Re: “Puckett's Grocery

What a great place! It's a grocery store with a restaurant, bar and stage in it... I have eaten there about 5 times now and have always been overwhelmed by the service and quality/quantity of food for the price. I have never been there at night for the entertainment but I often hear that I am missing out on a GREAT experience.

Re: “Landmark Booksellers

Went in here the other day for the first time! Im a big supporter of local businesses, & this one is just so cute! also got a few cheap fiction books from upstairs(almost didnt realize there was an upstairs- like really cheap $5 hardbacks). If youre walking around downtown frankline mainstreet, keep walking a little farther down main to get here, its worth it.

Re: “Outer Limits Comics

Nice selection, good price, but always closes before I can get there.

Re: “Rebecka Vaughan Lingerie

The merchandise in this store is not worth what she has the items priced at. The owner, Rebecka Vaughan, was extremely rude and obnoxious to me today while I was shopping at her store. The selection of merchandise and available sizes is dismal at best. I wouldn't suggest Rebecka Vaughan Lingerie to anyone, it's not worth it!
