Re: “DeSano Pizza Bakery

The Pizza is excellent! You'll never want franchise pizza again. I've been there 4 times and tried a different pizza each time. The thin crust is amazing - you know that when you eat all your crust. It holds it's shape. You don't loose everything on your slice when you pick it up; a testament to proper thin crust. It's a very casual setting. The music is a little bit too loud, but I haven't been there when it was crowded.

Re: “Bailey's Sports Grille

Was in town for a convention, went here to eat. The food was good, the atmosphere was good. All was good until our waiter Daniel B gave me the bill ,we were in a hurry I gave him my credit card he ran the card I signed it. Then I notice the bill had all these other charges on it. I told him and he said oh he made a mistake and put someone else stuff on my bill. Then he reruns a new bill about $45 less I paid that one. When I ask about what happened to the other bill I paid he assured me that only this bill will go thru. Well, we all know what happened next he ran the 1st higher bill and not the second lower bill. Im back in St louis now. I disputed it with the credit card company and Baileys sent in my sign receipt so they closed the case for now. I can write a letter and reopen the case but I just decided to tell my story here. So if you are from out of town don't go here or don't get Daniel B as your waiter other wise you will be over paying and getting ripped off. Oh and I did contact the manager there and he could care less. I think this is a common practice at Baileys.

Re: “Athens Family Restaurant

THE BEST!! I've eaten at both locations and each time have said, "That's the best thing I ever ate." We keep meaning to try the lamb burger, for which they are known, but every time get sidetracked by the specials. Tonight I had lamb shank with vegetables and rice - absolutely delicious! Hubby had ground lamb & pasta in Mornay sauce - also delicious. You must eat here!

Thanks Joe and all the staff.

Re: “Virago

I don't mind paying high dollar for good sushi; but the sushi here is just a small step above Publix sushi. If they're going to be that proud of it, they can keep it.

Re: “Samurai Sushi

Best sushi in the city! Always great food and atmosphere, service is a little slow; but you should never be in a hurry to enjoy sushi; have a little sake and relax and enjoy the day.

Re: “Peter's Sushi And Thai

Great sushi restaurant in/near the city. I've been to some of the more expensive/upscale sushi bars in the city, they are not even close to having the service, quality and freshness of sushi as Peter's. If you want to be seen go to the other places, if you want great sushi with good service go to Peter's.

Re: “Mellow Mushroom

Living in Nashville since January 2012, it's sad to say that this is (a chain restaurant) has the best Pizza in town; that I've found. Consistent quality, service varies day to day; but you always get good pizza.

Re: “Amerigo

Typical chain food. Nashville has much better to offer.

Wonderful place. Buffet food bar was clean and well stocked. Waitress was attentive and made the meal more enjoyable. The area has become a global village.

Re: “Caesar's Ristorante Italiano [Closed]

CLOSED and GONE. Try the Turkish restaurant down the strip - it's great.

Re: “Urban Grub Fish Pit and Southern Cantina

Great new addition to the 12th South area. Easily the one of the best high-end dining experiences on the West side. Amazing oyster bar, incredible wine list, amazing ambiance, and a must-try for anyone in Nashville. Easily the best new fine dining experience in town right now.

Re: “Chef's Market Cafe and Take Away

We love Chef's Market. I love the 3 salads plate but we usually try something different each trip. The customer service is A+, the desserts delicious, and the food, the best!

Re: “Chef's Market Cafe and Take Away

I LOVE Chef's Market! The hot chicken salad is my favorite dish, and whenever I have them cater an event, I make sure to get this. But, then you can't go wrong with anything, since EVERYTHING they serve is great!

Re: “Sole Mio

I hate having to write negative reviews, but if I could save someone from a bad experience, then I feel somewhat obligated. Went to Sole Mio's with a small group celebrating multiple birthdays. Never been before, but we were in the mood for Italian and were going to a show a few blocks away after dinner, so it fit nicely with our plans. We were in a great mood, so it took a lot to bring us down. Every course we ordered was bland and boring, which is inexcusable considering that it is more expensive than other local Italian restaurants that offer the same items. There were no real values on the wine list. Markup was substantial for a restaurant as sub par as it was. Do you know how depressing it is to say "This dish actually tasted better at Olive Garden"? I absolutely hate Olive Garden. It was that bad. I know I might sound somewhat cheap complaining about prices. To clarify, I don't mind at all to pay more for better quality food. But if you can't even beat Olive Garden, then you probably should just shut it down. To wrap the meal up, we got a few desserts for the table. The waiter said they were "taken care of", since we were celebrating multiple birthdays. They weren't. He still charged us anyway. In short, if you like Italian food, don't go here. It's just sad.

Re: “Bricks Café

I arrived at Brick’s on Nolensville Road at 6:35pm, September 25th, to meet a friend for dinner after work. I entered the restaurant and informed the hostess that I was there to meet a friend whom I did not see yet, and that I would wait until my friend arrived before requesting seating. I then exited the restaurant to wait outside since the inside waiting area is quite small.

I strolled leisurely through the sunlit parking lot to a sidewalk that runs parallel to the parking lot. When I reached the end of the short sidewalk, I turned to walk alongside the trees lining the bank of Mill Creek and was about to complete the circuit back to the front of the restaurant to meet my friend when I was confronted by a gentleman who I assume was the manager.

He inquired the reason for my presence and I politely explained to him that I was awaiting the arrival of a friend for dinner and motioned towards her vehicle which had just entered the lot. He then informed me that I was waiting “too close to the cars in the parking lot” and abruptly instructed me to “go somewhere else.” I instantly and politely agreed to leave the lot, and he stood guard as my friend and I pulled away to eat instead at Southside Grill a couple of blocks away.

We will not be back to Bricks.
