This place just simply rocks. Fido has always been a staple for coffee in Hillsboro Village, and one might suppose there wasn't a need for another one. However, this small lil espresso bar packs more than a powerful punch with its creatively served offerings. Friendly (yes, they REALLY are) baristas take good care of patrons with coffee beverages (a few of the same items from its next door canine sister), by-the-cup tea, as well as Las Paletas and Jeni's Ice Cream. You MUST try the Olive Sinclair magic shell on your ice cream, or for that matter, just go ahead and take a dark chocolate SHOT too!!
I was nervous about checking this place out after reading the reviews, but it turns out it is under new management (since February 2011 I think they said)? I really dig this place. Comfy lounge area, quiet space, great yogurt. Can't beat it.
This is a great venue, not only for eating, but the upstairs dining room doubles as a gallery for local artists. The current exhibit is by photographer, Nancy Diana, and features her "Signs of Life: Nashville - Part I & 2" series, her "Sustenance" series, and many of her landscapes of Middle Tennessee. Here's a link to many of the photos being shown: http://www.pbase.com/bellanundo/signs_of_l…

I heard about this place from the Food Network. It is awesome especially their sausage sandwich on homemade bread. They also have great cannolis dipped in chocolate. You wont be sorry you went.
there are so many Fro Yo shops now it's rediculous !! However there is ONLY ONE that is REAL, they serve "Americas #1 Healthy dessert" you know, the healthy stuff (isn't that the point of eating Yogurt instead of ice cream), but it actually tastes GOOD !! AND they were the FIRST to introduce the self serve concept besides BEING the first in town. I'm in it to stay fit, I don't care if a place has "posh" decor, I want good food, clean place and friendly service, Thumbs up to the smart people who brought this idea here, cuz now every imitator in town wants to join the band and collect royalties...lol. I will always be a FAN of Yo Oasis.
the best place for an eggplant parmigiana sandwich...away from the tri-state area! bakery reminds me of NY as well. for true Italian food, give Savarino's a try!!
oiiiiiiiiii vovo tudo bem eu estou morrendo de saudade
not good do not go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Walked to this place last night in East Nashville. Great location for an ice cream shop. All the flavors are homemade and the place had a lot of character. I had the berry ice cream which consisted of blueberry, rasberry and strawberry...I think?? It was quite tasty. My wife had the Little Debbie Swiss Cake Roll ice cream and that one was great too. $3 for a cone ( not too bad ) 1 is enough for two people to share... The guy working there was friendly so I will definitely go back for more.
Nucci's is easily one of the best things about Cool Springs. Owned by Connie and Steve Hovis, the entire family is friendly, capable and eager to please. When it comes to their sandwiches, Italian Ice or gelato, they don't have to try very hard. Everything is always fresh, tasty and consistently what you expect when you order it. The decor is open, inviting and bright. The staff at Nucci's goes out of its way to make everyone feel welcome. If you want something different than run-of-the-mill fast food, try NUcci's. You'll be delighted you did.
Nuccis Italian Ice and Gelato is located in Cool Springs shopping Center in 2000 Meridian Blvd., Suite 100 Franklin Tennessee. Nuccis staff is rude, provides poor customer service and negative attitude towards other ethinicgroups non white.
Steve and Connie Hovis are the owners, their sons, Ben and Jay, work full time and their daughters, Erin and Morgan,
Upon entering the restaurant on Friday July 17, 2009 at 8:45pm parking was limited and owner Connie Hovis did not provide adequate customer service tonight by acknowledging three customers order and never asking may I help you. I politely interrupted the Connie Hovis while the son (ignored my presence as a customer as well and asked 2 other customers for help) and stated I was next she tried to ignore my comment and then asked can I help you.
Normally I would have thought this was an error or oversight but Steve Hovis (owner) also displayed this same negative and discriminatory behavior in May 2009. I have lived in Cool Springs over 13 years and rarely see restaurants who provide negative customer service survive!! My family was a standard customer at Nuccis we even looked forward to the daily Gelato specials. After tonight the racists attitude by the owners and family needed to be provided in reviews for future patrons.
The menu is limited and the prices are high considering Baskin Robbins, Maggie Moos, Coldstone and Dipping Dots with in a mile radius of Cool Springs. Portions are tight and staff will try to use old products or take shortcuts in preparation. Maybe this small family owned business can grow from this negative experience and become more diverse to other elasticities trying to support their business within Cool Springs.

The food is really good but I don't like the prices. I usually end up spending 10 or 11 dollars for meat and two and drink.
