Re: “Florence and the Machine w/Raury

The audience area has too shallow a decline for good viewing. Unless you are right up front, you won't see the performance well. Don't bother buying a "Box Seat" since it is at ground-level behind the seeated sections; you won't see a thing (for a higher price). We were seated in 102 row X and I could hardly see; my wife couldn't see anything and she is a huge Florence Fan. She was in tears with frustration.

Re: “Diamond Rio w/Raquel Cole & Truman

Diamond Rio has always been my favorite group in country. Every member contributes to make great harmony. Since Meet In The Middle I have been such a fan, Marty Roe's voice is amazing, such power & range... But something was wrong on October 19. From the first song "Unbelievable" I was very sure there was an imposter in Marty's place. The show was great but I am more than convinced that Marty just had a meal right before he walked out. His awesome voice just wasn't there. He never made a singe trademark high note. I wouldn't go so far as to say he was off key, but something was off. I would never stop being a fan of the recordings, but I doubt I would bother seeing them in person again. A bit disappointed.

Re: “The Macaroni and Cheese Festival

I am sorry but it was not a gourmet mac and cheese fest. There was supposed to be 20 plus m&c vendors and there were only about a dozen which included the three radio stations. Yes there was a few beer and wine vendors which was nice but when did Nashville become the cty that has more booze than food at a food fest? The star mac and cheese was Jim and Nick's and to our taste no one came close. It was windy and several of the vendors had cold food which was unpleasant. Good benefit but not good food.

Re: “Iron Fork 2014

Too crowded, hot and stuffy. Could not see the chefs cook. Not enough food tasting vendors. Parking was very confusing. Not the best venue. Rocketown and Marathon Motor Works are far superior venues.

Re: “Grand Opening: Antique Archaeology Nashville

I can't support them now that I've found out that they're "Butt Pirates". I won't be watching the show any longer either. I don't think the shop will do well after the word gets out, being here in the buckle of the bible belt.

Re: “Shen Yun Performing Arts

Too much "political satire". Over rated. Much less than spectacular by any measure. We had the best seats in the house - $132 plus each. Max price should have been no more than $50 each. This is an example of Chinese salesmanship. Our homes are full of well hyped sub-standard products (productions). Add one more. The video backdrop screen quality was terrible - technically substandard. If and when HD back drop screen technology is used, the show will present much better. Still, let it be said, the orchestra was exceptional. Perhaps they are the ones who should have been on stage. However, the instrumentation is more comparable to American orchestra than a mix including Chinese culture related instruments. To be fair, there were exceptional moments, but the propoganda overtones hammered the true talent into "colorless" as well.

Re: “Lard Bucket

Lard Bucket seemed to be a group of guys who really had alot of fun, the fiddle player is world class and the two guitar players were real good too. They did a really good job of inviting the audience to join in and I loved that. The keybd player planted the whole show and the lady singer was great. It took the sound guy a few songs to get it sounding good but when he did it was really sharp some of the best sounding music ive heard at the station. There was one massive issue for me that I cannot overlook, I would say the show was embarrassing and could have been alot better if it wasnt for the banjo player being absolutely smashed on either drugs or booze but he was completely out of it . . I know he embarrassed the band and I think they are capable of so much more . . . its a genuine shame to see one person ruin a great night. I think he fell asleep at one point and at the end, i guess whatever he was on kicked in , and he started to play piano, stumble around the stage and kept shouting to the band "one more time" even though they had left the stage. I will only see them again if that banjo player is not apart. save ya money and go see a sober band . . . .sorry to the rest of the guys they seemed nice, they did try but its hard to overlook it. . . . why didn't they perform without him? they were good enough that they could of. I dont want to have to go out for an evening and be distracted all night by one band member.

Re: “Sugar Social: An Exclusive Dessert and Cocktail Experience

This was falsely advertised. We arrived shortly after 2pm and found endless lines for 2oz "cocktails" (two choices, although both were yummy) and a "spread" of 2-3 types of sweets, nary a crumb of cake in site. The swag bags were all swagged out before we got them. It seemed like I paid for the opportunity to look at ads for bakeries.

Re: “Hank III w/Attention Deficit Domination

I pray Sheldon finds his way around the Music Row crowd that can be quite tricky. Be professional in the office and rock when on stage. I wish you the best old friend.

Re: “Tracy Morgan

Stunned and highly disapointed in his act. Went to see him based on his great performances had humor on SNL and 30 Rock. I guess a script written for you can really make a differance. As a solo act this man is totally xxxxx- rating . Every single joke was about sex, sex and more sex. In fact the 2 comics before him were the same. The best comic yet was the elder of them all, sure he had some dirty jokes, but they were no near as vulgar and had other clean jokes that were very funny. He should have been the Headliner. At one point I that Tracey was going to pull his drawers down to expose his privates as he talked about black pubic hair. This man used the N Word so often I was offended and I'm white. Hell I never thought someone could use the F would in every single sentence, but he managed to do that as well. The worst was when he poked fun at the late Michael Jackson referring to him as a pedifile. The man was found not guilty after 14 weeks on trail with the fear of being put in jail forever. I personally was unjustly charged for crimes I did'nt commit because of a corrupt legal system . The person involved had connections with the city and police and tried to assault me on more than one occasion and criminally detained me in the street preventing me from driving away all on video and police did Shit. Black people of all should know the injustice of our legal system. I will never get over what I lived through. I can only imagine Micheal's stress, pain, and depression and isolation after the trial which I'm sure had it's effects on his early death. Heard Tracey Morgan cried during an interview recalling his difficult childhood. Where was his sensitivity to Michael and his family during his cruel jokes about him in his act. There are so many talented comics who don't rely 100% on extreme vulgarity and unfounded personal attacks on the dead to get a laugh. Johnny Carson, George Wallace, Ellen Degeneras, Joy Behar and Joan Rivers , Jerry Steinfeld, Robin Willaims, George Carlin to name a few. Tracey can't you me the funny guy on stage that you are on t.v. Like I said SCRIPTS make people funny. Stick to that and stay away from stand up comedy.

Re: “Tracy Morgan

It was easy to tell that he was high the minute he started talking. He then proceeded to do about 30 minutes on vaginal farts and oral anal. Cheap laughs and he beat the hell out of a dead horse. We walked out after 45 minutes. Can I get a refund?
