So far so good. Still not taking the boards down from the windows just yet.
Bravo to Amy and Vince.... A class act. She shines the gentle love and sense of humor of our maker. What a gift to be a part of this intimate and meaning filled concert.
Don't forget you can also post this information via http://www.wheretodancenashville.com great resource for dancing in Nashville.
I ATTEND EVERY MONTH. IT IS THE MOST WONDERFUL PLACE IN NASHVILLE TO HEAR WONDERFUL AND GREAT JAZZ. YOU CAN BRING YOU OWN DRINKS, SNACKS, LOVED ONES AND HAVE AN AMAZING TIME. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE, IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN, TREAT YOURSELF AND GO......
Brilliant Show! Breathless, Timeless, I loved every second of it. Truly, an Epic performance!
'A Justice League of hopelessly dated, second-string buzz-bin cutouts it is' - because going to see a band you've liked for 20 years makes you lame. I've never understood this mentality. Why does going to see an older band make a person uncool? I would think that racing alongside the tweens of today trying to keep up with the "latest and greatest" in the music scene at 30+ would be seen as worse. I went, just this last weekend and saw Sugar Rays (one of Summerland's headliners) in concert. I wasn't old enough to go see them when they were "relevant" so I was really excited to get to see them as an adult. The tickets were under $30 a piece, it was a smaller venue and by the end of the concert I was standing right next to the stage and the lead singer had high-fived me. It was incredible. I knew and loved all of the songs they played and really I couldn't have done that when they were "relevant" in the 90's. I could have spent 4-5 times as much money and gone to a "current" band's concert, sat away from the stage and cheered when the one or two hits I knew were played, but I doubt I'dve had as much fun. I for one am excited for Summerland this year, these are all bands I missed out on seeing when they were popular, and I'm sure that despite scathing comments from mainstream snobs like you it's going to be a blast.
Just saw Frog and Toad. The cast is strong. There are 5 and each one gave a memorable performance comparable to what I see at TPAC at a much lower cost. The scenery is minimal, but who needs scenery when the acting is so good. There is a memorable scene, just before intermission where Frog and Toad gobble down chocolate chip cookies and end up tossing them to the audience. Hint: Don't sit in the first few rows if you want to catch a cookie. Frog and Toad is as much an adult play as a child-pleaser. The bass player and the electronic gizmo player are wonderful. Go see Frog and Toad. Disclaimer: I am not related to anyone in the cast.
Also, WZTV-17 in Nashville did a story on the Pie Drive and its purpose, featuring both The Family Wash and Room in the Inn. YouTube has a video at: http://youtu.be/5pV0nxgUHoo
The Friday (11/30) kickoff of the December Pie Drive at the Family Wash was terrific -- I was there -- and I believe more than met the first week's goal, with enough $ raised for 100+ pies for homeless neighbors. Thanks to everyone involved! Susan Kastan, East Nashville
Awesome show!!!
Awesome night at the Bluebird with Adam Pope and friends, thanks

Kuzin It will be playing on Dec. 23rd not Nov. 23rd
Love his blog, the Sartorialist. I suggest seeing him at Parnassus, then go rent Bill Cunningham. Awesome.
Saw this during Nashville Film Festival. There is a wedding scene toward end that hits on something most otherworldly. Worth admission just for this. Highly recommended.

i'm having enormous fun playing this musical
No; they no longer ARE at the Station Inn every Monday. See facts above.
Was an amazing performance by all!!! Completely enjoyed. Only draw back, seating. The viewing from the back was difficult.
